After asking for your opinions on which library I should release, there was a clear trend towards oAuth integration in the current ‘Twitter CodeIgniter Library‘
So, here it is, a new version of the CodeIgniter Twitter API Library complete with oAuth!
Twitter is quickly becoming one of the fastest communication networks around. So why should we leave our beautiful CodeIgniter Applications out of such a great think?
Well, now we don’t have to! Here it is, a new, shiny version of the Twitter CodeIgniter Library.
Previously, the library was only able to parse someone’s Tweets via RSS. However! Fear not! For I have built a full-blown Twitter API solution for you!
As soon as twitter released its API, there have been a vast amount of twitter based applications released. Most of these applications were simply ways of using twitter on various desktop environments, mobile phones, and social network aggregators. Simply, other ways to access twitter. To go with the recent load of CodeIgniter Libraries I’ve been building, here’s another little one to enjoy. This library is really simple, it just gets a list of your recent twitter updates… or anyone’s really! Check out the Twitter CodeIgniter Library page for more details, and documentation.

I use 'FreeAgent' to track-time, create invoices, view reports, and calculate my tax. It's the perfect tool for a freelancer.
If you're a UK based freelancer, give it a go. It really does free up more time to actually work rather than messing around with admin tasks.
