With the sun shining and my vegetables really starting to shoot up, I can tell summer is now in full swing. There’s been some things on my mind that I though I’d share with you about where I’m looking to go, moving forward.
Firstly, my code. Since I first started releasing CodeIgniter Libraries they’ve been widely used and loved. But, there’s a problem. I’ve not had the time to support them or update them. The solution to this, I believe, is to start again, with updated, clean code…
I asked all of my followers on twitter what they would like released this weekend, and the result was clear: Facebook Connect.
I’ve been playing around with Facebook Connect for quite some time, and naturally, decided to use CodeIgniter to do so. And since this is me, I figured that most people in the UK are fed up of MP’s taking so much from them this week, so here’s me ‘giving’ you something back!

I'm a 23 year old freelance web developer currently living on beautiful Walney Island, Barrow-in-Furness.
The web is certainly my passion. I care about building and maintaining really good applications that actually mean something. Freelancing isn't just my profession, it's a way of life for me, and I love to write and talk about freelance, the rewards and horrors.

I use 'FreeAgent' to track-time, create invoices, view reports, and calculate my tax. It's the perfect tool for a freelancer.
If you're a UK based freelancer, give it a go. It really does free up more time to actually work rather than messing around with admin tasks.
