Indiana University Southeast was in need of an expert in CodeIgniter to train its web team in preparation for a migration from ColdFusion development to Object Oriented PHP. Elliot came highly recommended from the CodeIgniter creators and he did not disappoint. He was flexible to our schedule and created a training seminar that we’ll utilize over and over again going forward.
He has a very deep knowledge of the framework, general PHP, CSS, JavaScript and semantic XHTML markup. Yet he was able to explain difficult CodeIgniter concepts in a way that made it much easier to consume and reproduce into a real web application. It’s not often you find someone who has such great communication skills paired with a deep expertise of the content he or she is communicating. With Elliot, we truly did get the best of both worlds.
