Some Thoughts on Allotments

I’ve been on the waiting list for an allotment in my town (Barrow-in-Furness) for over a year now. The allotments in my area are around 300 square yards in size, and cost just £48/year. That seems like a real bargain. However, I’m not the only one who thinks so.
