Elliot Haughin

I'm a freelance web developer.
I build clever, engaging, ass-kicking,
web applications. You want me?

Code is most definitely my true language of expression.
So here I’ve decided to post some code which may help you build the web applications you’ve always dreamed of.

Facebook Connect CodeIgniter Library

Facebook Connect lets you integrate facebook into your web applications using API calls and client-side scripting, and now here’s a CodeIgniter package to help you bring facebook connect to your CodeIgniter applications.

Vimeo API CodeIgniter Library

Vimeo is a fantastic video hosting service. Now you can use the Vimeo API within your CodeIgniter applications!

Twitter API CodeIgniter Library

Twitter is a unique way to share your current ‘tweets’ with the world. Now you can use the twitter API within your CodeIgniter applications!

Akismet CodeIgniter Library

Akismet is a remotely hosted spam-busting web service.
If you have a CodeIgniter application that accepts comments from users, Akismet can help you filter out the ’spam’ comments and keep the ‘real’ comments.

SimplePie CodeIgniter Port

The basis for many of my other CodeIgniter libraries, this library lets you use SimplePie in CodeIgniter!

Flickr CodeIgniter Library

Flickr is great for sharing photos, so why not get some of that action going on in your CodeIgniter applications?
This library lets you pull latest photos from flickr either by: user, group, or community. Choose tags, caching and much more!
REQUIRES: SimplePie CodeIgniter Library

Lastfm CodeIgniter Library

Lastfm lets you share your music taste with the world by letting them know what you’ve been listening to recently. Now you can use lastfm in your CodeIgniter applications. It’s simple to use too!
REQUIRES: SimplePie CodeIgniter Library

Amazon S3 CodeIgniter Library

Amazon have the amazon ‘S3′ (Simple Storage Service) to let developers store huge amounts of data for minimal costs. If you’re not using it already, maybe it’s time to consider using amazon s3.
This library will let you upload, download, create buckets, delete objects, get private urls… the full whack. And, it can really give your latest web 2.0 application affordable scalability!
The Amazon S3 CodeIgniter Library is a port of neurofuzzy’s class.

I can’t find contact page, so i’m going to ask you here.
Is there any code, screencast or tutorial about filepanda script?
I like that file hosting/share site. Please… I want to find some code examples or maybe you can sell me that script?

  4. Yeah, as Tony said, I’d like to see some kind of information about the filepanda script too! Just a simple tutorial how you handle the AJAX, calculate the status of the upload, and update the progressbar :)
    Keep the good job up!

Just saying thanks for these libraries! I’ve been working on a CodeIgniter CMS for a little while and a few of these (Flickr, Twitter, LastFM) I can use right away! I took a stab at working with the Facebook API a while back, before ‘Facebook Connect’ came out and wasn’t able to get too far. Hopefully this will make it a little easier. Thanks!
