Blaze – A CodeIgniter CMS

19th February 2008

Hey guys,

Some of you may remember that I’ve talked about building a CMS in CodeIgniter before… well, after playing about with lots of code, I’ve started to develop and release regularly.

Introducing the first CodeIgniter CMS, Blaze. The current code is extremely Alpha, but includes the modular seperation, a multi-lingual system, and administration routing.

This project will be updated reguarly, and hopefully we’ll see a 1.0 release in the next couple of weeks.

  • Спасибо за ответы на все вопросы :) Реально узнал много нового. Правда до конца так и не разобрался что и откуда.
  • Is it possible to port Frog CMS to CodeIgniter?

    Frog CMS is very nice

    Hi Elliot,

A CodeIgniter CMS, that sounds like music to my ears!!

I like WordPress alot, but it often feels like hacking and it makes you dependable from the goodwill of those who want to share their plugins.
I like ExpressionEngine alot. The only "problem" I have with EE is that I need to learn a new template language, and even while it looks not that difficult, it is a learning curve and the knowledge acquired can only be used in EE projects.
  • Looks good - although I wonder how many more fire-related product names the CI community is going to be able to come up with before running out of fuel...

to use standard libraries in php as PDO

    Thank you
  • A CodeIgniter CMS, wow, this is cool! (Y)
    I Love CodeIgniter :p
