It’s been quite a while since most of you have seen me around online, and there is a pretty good reason for it.
I’ve recently moved to London, which is a marvelous place. And, I’ve started a new full-time position at ‘doof‘. The whole experience of moving to London and getting used to an extremely long commute has thrown me quite a bit, and I haven’t managed to get online as often as I’d like.
I’m still using CodeIgniter, now on a daily basis at doof. But I want to get back into it, and start developing more and contributing to the community.
Since I’ve been bombarded with emails asking for them… I’ll be putting the CodeIgniter screencasts online over the next couple of days to download in quicktime movie format.
So, let me tell you a little bit about my new job then!
‘doof‘ is a new gaming/social network site aimed at bringing flash games and community together. The front-end is written in Adobe Flex, and the API/Gateway is written in PHP.
My job is to develop, scale, and manage servers for doof. So far it’s going really well, and quite a few people have signed up since its launch.
doof is a really great place to work, and my favourite bit: casual dress!
So, stay subscribed for future posts on the site.
